The US is struggling to keep up with aging, crumbling roads. Pavement rehabilitation is only slightly extending pavement life with diminishing returns. However, using additives at the start can extend the life of a road.
At Driven Plastics, we use a proprietary process that diverts difficult-to-recycle, landfill-bound plastic (think grocery bags and pallet shrink wrap) into an asphalt additive that improves quality, extends pavement lifespan, and reduces road maintenance.

We are driven by the knowledge that 38 million tons of thin-film plastic is produced in the US each year and 385 million tons of asphalt is placed in the US in one year. We can upcycle up to 10 tons of plastic in a mile of roadway.
